With the Melt 'N Mold Factory from Crayola, you can use Crayola crayons to create custom swirled crayons and molded toys. This kit includes everything you need to melt, mold, and create: 24 full-size Crayola crayons in four different colors, two molds, and a mold holder. Designed for kids six and up, the Melt 'N Mold Factory gives you a fun way to transform crayon bits into new colors and toys.
The Melt 'N Mold Factory makes it easy to create original color combinations and molded objects. Start with an array of crayon bits--high-contrast colors such as blue and yellow or green and orange create the best results. Then add your custom combination to the melting tray, turn the dial toward the on/off switch, and watch the colors melt and blend. When the melting process is done, simply pour the melted wax into the mold of your choice to create a brand new, one-of-a-kind crayon.
The factory comes with two reusable molds. One mold makes new crayons in the traditional shape, while the other creates two ring-shaped crayons at a time. Each mold snaps easily and securely into the holder and then attaches to the factory. The Melt 'N Mold Factory is powered by any AC outlet, so there are no batteries to replace.
